It was always comleatly dark in Fabios garden, and dangerus steps before you lernd where there are. So some light please. And the pool was cleaned everyday but our room not a singel time during 10 days. Well rooms not bad and it was not so far from the beach. The service staff was nice but I guess fabio tryed to spear money on simpeltthings like some sope and toiletpaper

For The second time I have chosen Garden Lodge and did not regret it. Nice, quiet, cosy place, not far from Tongsala and Haad Rin. Needs some rennovation but the new owner Fabio planned it already. Many thanks to Fabio and his helpers for making our vacation unforgettable.

Quiet place, good location, owners are friendly and helpfull : It s the place to be !
Nous avons réellement apprécié notre séjour au Garden Lodge, la villa était magnifique. L endroit est tranquille et bien situé car non loin des attractions.Il n y a pas de restaurant mais on peut se rendre à pied (5 minutes) par la plage à ceux des hôtels voisins.

We stayed at the garden lodge the first week in March 2011; we can only say that the accommodation was great. The manager (frank) was great and very helpful; as were all the staff, the beach was a 5 min walk away and you would be hard pushed to see many other people on it. There are not many bars/restaurants around but enough for us, its not as busy as the other big islands but ideal if you like it peaceful, we will defiantly return next year. Bryan and Lesley.

Very unwelcoming and unhelpful manager. Rooms vary - we started with a family room which was very poor (no hot water for example) and were moved to an upgraded room which was fine. The location is poor and the facilities are also poor, althoug the the garden and the pool are nice

Family with two older children (17, 13 years).
An incredibly beautiful place, with pool and private beach not far from the bungalow. The service was very good, good location. Thanks Frank, we hope and want to come back.

We had a great time at The Garden Lodge. The staff are very friendly and Frank the owner took good care of all of our needs. The rooms were excellent and the garden swimming pool a real pleasure to use. A very pleasant and relaxing stay.

The location of the resort is in ban-tai village- far away from the main activities that the island offers and therefore require rent of motorbike or services of sungatew (open van taxi) for 100 baht as fix price for each drive. there was a hot water only for a few hours a day. The beach is neglected. the hotel not offering even a bar for coctails or shakes. to conclude- a big disapointment.

Very good place to relax. It has a small but nice pool with grass and trees around where you always can find a place in the shadow. We had the room next to the reception, which had no private terrace, but was very big.
