Accommodation and facilities:
we came to that hotel already 3 or 4 years ago because we like the location: quiet,beautiful, far from the bars and discos. Last year they opened new building on the hill with very nice rooms. I think all rooms have a sea view. Near the new building there is a big swimming pool with there is a slide that takes you to the lower pool. Kids love it !! There is a third pool near the beach but no slide there. Between the rooms near the beach and the rooms in the building on the hill, you can take the cableway. International breakfast is very good. The restaurant is good too and not expensive. If you want to spend a few days relaxing on the beach or near the pool it is a perfect place.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit perfekter Lage. Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb des nächsten Ortes. Somit muss der Fahrdienst für 50 Bath oder Taxi verwendet werden. Pool, Zimmer und Lage sind ausgezeichnet. Nachteilig sind das Frühstücksbuffet, welches im Lighthouse weit über der Hotelanlage ist. Die Reinheit des Geschirrs war dort nicht besonders. Wer will, kann aber im nächsten Ort auch frühstücken. Das Beach-Restaurant war dagegen sehr angenehm und gut. Alles in allem ein sehr schönes Hotel.

I stay in the family room in the building 3. Room is clean and tasteful. Sea view from the balcony is so beatiful , the little island in front of the beach is lovely. Unfortunately the request ground floor is not for the elder as we need to climb up the stay to the 1 floor.

It s perfect for couple or family who are looking for a peaceful and quiet beach. The hotel itself is very beautiful and natural. The service is good but the selection of food is not variety, not much choices for breakfast. The TV inside the room is a little bit old but its okay cos we didnt come for watching TV. Also during our stay the light went off so many time, it was a bit scary when it happened in the middle of the night. Anyways, we had such a great time there, we will definitely go back there again!

Ett jättefint hotell med bra frukost, stort fint poolområde och en välskött strand. Rummen var rymliga, fräscha och välstädade. När vi var där var det gott om plats kring solstolarna. Personalen var serviceminded och trevliga. Enda lite negativa var att det saknades gratis wifi. Små trevliga restauranger fanns precis i närheten på stranden.

Sadly we only stayed 2 nights. This is a great hotel in a good location. We stayed in a bungalow which was fantastic clean and beautifully presented. The towels were fresh smelling and white. The breakfast was spot on, I really can t fault this place, my child loved it! It has so much to offer !! And the price is right !

We have visited kohchang and seaview for several years now and love the location of the resort. The staff is very helpful and serviceminded. The only thing we reacted on this stay was that interior of the room 83013 was not in good condition. The curtains was stained and a lamp was broken. Otherwise we were very satisfied as always at Seaview

We stayed for 5 nights at the Sea View Resort in a family suite at the top of the hill in the same building where the buffet breakfast was held. The room was large with a queen size bed in one room and 2 twins in another. The bathroom was huge with separate tub and shower. The views from the room over Kai Bae were stunning and the grounds were beautifully landscaped. We had a choice of 2 pools both of which were very big and clean. The upper pool was the quieter of the 2 and had a slide and waterfall while the lower pool was just off the beach and equally as nice. Both pools were surrounded by lush tropical gardens. Getting to the beach from up top was very easy as a tram (funicular) ran up and down the hillside. The beach was beautiful, very clean and private. The resort was at the far end of Kai Bae and as a result only guests at this resort and the one next door used this part of the beach which made it feel like it was your own. The ocean bottom was sandy and shallow (very safe for children)and the water was very warm and crystal clear. The buffet breakfast was huge and the best offered at any of the hotels we stayed at, there was something for everyone. The restaurant at the beach was good and served great spring rolls and ice cream sundaes. Staff were friendly and attentive. This is a beautiful resort in a stunning location, we will definitely be back. One recommendation I have for the resort would be to start providing free wi-fi. We travel quite a bit and this is the only hotel we have stayed in that is still charging for wi-fi..$5 for 2 hrs!! It is time to take a serious look at revising that policy. With the rates the resort is charging there is no excuse not to offer free wi-fi.

The room was excellent, nice and clean. I love the 2 swimming pools, cable car and the private beach. The restaurants at the hotel were okay, not many choices of food though. I mostly went out to fisherman village for a nice dinner. Overall, it was impressive staying at SeaView Resort& Spa.

A great hotel with a wonderful garden, like a park. The poolarea was great too and the children had a lot of fun there. The room was big and our extra room had a tv too. The restaurant had a marvellous seaview and the sunset was very beautiful. Clean and fresh everywhere.Little too dark in the evening when we went to our room from the cabin. Bring a torch!

Excellent hotel stayed in a corner room of the new block located at the top of the hill. Room was big, clean and the facilities were very good. We used the hotel restaurant for dinner which had a wide choice of meals, with good quality and value for money. Drinks were very reasonably priced. Staff very helpful and friendly. Negatives: breakfast was poor and the staff have problems with dealing with busy periods. Rooms located near the ocean have a long trek to breakfast. There is a cable car for use but at busy periods we saw people waiting for long periods. You have to pay for Internet use which we found was very patchy and at sometimes of day unusable. However we enjoyed our stay and will return again.

We had a wonderful corner room and a fantastic view. Roomcleaning couldn´t be better. Only 5 minutes along the beach to nice restaurants. ex. Porns A very quite hotel. Motorbike necessary if you want to see the Island by yourself. No bar by night, absolutely no noise. Restaurant prices very reasonable. Beach and pools perfect.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit im Sea View. Diese Anlage kann man unbedenklich weiter empfehlen. Es ist ein echtes Paradies mit eigenem Strand, der mehrmals täglich gereinigt wurde. Die Zimmer Sptzenklasse, hatten ein Dx Zimmer im 3, Block, Die Zimmermädchen vollbringen täglich neue Kunstwerke mit den Handtüchern. Der Blick vom Balkon unvergesslich. Es gibt auch nette Strandlokale z.B. KB Restaurant rechts vom Hotel ca, 1 km. Die Qualität an dem Strandrest. im Sea View auch super. Essen im Lighthouse taugt nichts. Auch beim Frühstück kein besonderer Service. nicht mal Tassen, Teller oder Besteck auf den Tischen. Das ist der einzige Minuspunkt Personal ist genügend- aber schlecht geschult und wissen nicht wo es fehlt.

We are a family trip, the hotel left us a good impression, especially environmental, great! The various facilities of the hotel, room service is also very good, my family was very satisfied. The only thing we regret is that on the 28th morning, when my father entered the restaurant, a waitress gave him a written note of No Smoking , this made my family feel uncomfortable, because all my family have never smoked, even in our own country who had never smoked, we feel that the waitress s behavior was very rude!

Poor fitness room equipment, limited menu at beach restaurant (especially when you stay at the resort all week you would expect some more variety). On the other hand my boyfriend arranged a surprise birthday cake and flowers in our room for my birthday, which was great. Hotel far from the village with all the restaurants and services, they should introduce some shuttle connection every hour or so, esp. that the distance is not graet, ca. 2-3 km. If you plan to stay by the pool all day the resort is great, neat and clean. A lot of greenery and lanes for walking.

We stayed in a Family room at the very top of the resort. Big benefit to be in the same building as the breakfast restaurant, but a long way down to the beach pool area. The resort is very green and well kept. Simply beautiful. The pool areas (both of them) are very nice, and was not at all busy during our stay. No fighting for sun beds at all even later in the day. The staff was very helpful to support with transportation and the Tour guide at the hotel was very supportive too. Very good breakfast. The location is great if you want to relax, but it takes transportation to come to other restaurants unless you stick to the few restaurants at the beach. Goods food though at the Beach grill with a selection of Sea food and nice stone owen pizza. Closer to Bang Bao than the White Sands hotels if You like snorkling.

The Deluxe cottage 1 has a nice view over the beach but they are very old and worn out compared to the other hotelrooms that we saw. They did not fill up shampoo, soap and even the toiletpaper run out two times. The beach resturant is a joke, very unfriendly staff (they work to much and are not happy) and the wait time for the food is sometimes up to more than one hour. Good breakfast. The hotel is beautiful with all the flowers and small paths. The two poolreas are also very good. The beach is nice but not good for kids beacuse of the slippery stairs to the ocean.

A very nice holiday indeed. Friendly and serviceminded staff who smoothly helped us with rebooking hotelrooms and let us stay some extra hours in room for late-checkout without extracharge. Nice clean familyroom. It was about 10 minutes beachwalk to Kai Bae village, also with some nice bars and restaurants on the way. Really recommend this place and surroundings if you are looking for a calm holiday.

I can t say enough good things about the Sea View Resort & Spa. Our four days were absolutely wonderful. From the deck/entry of our Deluxe Cottage we could see the beach and hear the waves on the shore. Dining facilities were well staffed and the food was excellent. An easy 10 minute walk along the beach and we were at the main shopping area of Kai Bae Beach where we found many shops, bars and places to eat the wonderful food. We will definitely be back.

We had a great stay at Sea View. The room we booked (corner room) was very spacious, clean, nicely decorated, comfortable and great view. The bed was a bit hard, but I understand that this is typical for Thailand. Breakfast was very good; a lot of different choices (Western and Thai) and of good quality. We also had diner at the resort a couple of times; also good quality but a bit pricy. It s about 20min walk to Kai Bae via the beach or 5 min by taxi (50B pp); not too far but be prepared it s a bit of a walk. The resort is very nice with enough space and a lot of green. The swimming pools are great, which was a good thing for our 4-year-old. The beach is sandy, clean and perfect for little children. The only drawback is the cable car; it works fine and saves you a lot of climbing, but it is very noisy, especially for the rooms nearby and I think they should do something about it....

The hotel is very cosy and comfortable. Staff is afable and helpful. Beach is equipped with beach chairs, you also can borrow beach towels for your comfort. The hotel has Wi-Fi, though it is not free. There are several restourants in the hotel. I went to two of them: Lighthouse Cousine for breakfast and a beach restaurant for dinner. The former resides on the top if a small mountain so if you lazy enough you can reach it eigher by elevator (slow variant) or riding a borrowed motorbike (fast variant). I prefer the fast variant :) . The latter resides right on the beach and it s very cosy and romantic in the evening. The beach is clean, personnel is sifting the sand and tidying up every day.

Bel hotel. Cependant, la restauration est médiocre , il faut manger à l extérieur. Idem pourle personnel: Personne ne parle anglais, on nous sert ce qu on n a pas commandé à cause de la mauvaise compréhension de la langue. Meme la réception de cet hotel n est pas au top, la réceptionniste récite par coeur son texte à l arrivée mais dès qu on pose des questions, elle ne comprend rien ! On est tolérant car on est en vacances mais au bout d une semaine, on craque ! Dommage de ne pas pouvoir prendre le petit déjeuner sur la plage. Hotel éloigné, il faut louer un scooter pour sortir.

Had a very pleasant stay at Seaview. Beautiful rooms and a nice location, a bit quiet but not too far from other places. Have 2 points to be improved: the restaurant on the beach should not close already at 20.00, and the coffee at breakfast was the worst I had. Food for breakfast was good. Barbeque in evening is also good, and for a 4 star resort they have very reasonable restaurant prices. On one of our days the BBQ dinner at Seaview was cheaper then the basic lunch at a fishing village.

Beautiful resort, wonderful pools and beach. Loved it and the staff was great. Only thing is that we thought internet was free and available and it was not. You have to buy a use card even to use the lobby computers. Not a big deal but website was misleading about this.

7 years ago this was already a perfect spot with great service, it still is. We visited many hotels on the island again before booking the Sea View for 2 weeks. There is no match especially in the low season when you have the place almost for yourself. Only 1 big minus is the WiFi (200 THB for 1h!) while it s free at most places in Kai Bay or Lonely Beach. Front beach bungalows got some paintwork @the time of our stay but could use some more in depth renovation.

Sea View Resort - the best Resort on Kai Bae beach. Pleasant relaxed atmosphere, nice room, good breakfast (thai and european cousine), clean beach (very clean). Don t be afraid that it is far from main road with suvenirs shops and 7/11 - it is just 10 min by walk on the beach (by the way there you can have diner at nice fish restorants).

Having been to Koh Chang many times, we think we have found our favourite spot. The views, pools, beach, gardens, everthing just wonderful. Service at the beach restaurant was very slow, but than again, sitting in that beautiful spot, who cares if you have to wait a bit longer. Most negative point is that we didn t book any longer.

However, since you have to enter your country of recidence (in our case Thailand - Bangkok) thank you for visiting Thailand gives the impression that sawasdee.dom doesn t look closely at your details.

Enjoyed the stay in a delux bungalow at the Sea View resort. The room was quiet and clean and had all the facilities required. The beach restaurant was nicely situated on the edge of the sea and the food was good. The main restaurant where breakfast was served had a fantastic view over the sea, but lacked atmosphere. There was a tour guide situated within the grounds of the resort, with very friendly staff who could arrange motorbike rental, tours and transfers to other islands. There are 2 pools, the higher pool was empty most of the time and we enjoyed the pool facilities including a slide that was great fun. I would stay at this resort again if I visited Koh Chang

was here 2d time and i am going one more. i lived in delux room 1 in old building. rooms in delux room 2 or delux room 3 are bigger and newer. next time i am going to book delux room 2. the hotel is wonderful

Its was our second visit at Seaview Resort & Spa. We really like to stay there. The rooms are great, the view is beautiful, and the staff are very kind. It was a pleasent stay and everything was perfekt. We would love to stay there again.

Excellent hotel stayed in what they call a Deluxe Room Three Corner Unit in a newly constructed block. Room was large with balcony, seaview and excellent facilities. Parts of the hotel are still under construction/renovation but that did not pose a problem. Staff excellent and friendly. I stayed there in the wet season and because the hotel is situated on a hillside the pathways can be slippery so beware. However there is a cable car that takes you all the way down to the beach which was excellent. The only negative thing I found was the resturant lacked atmosphere and appeared well used although the food was excellent.

The resort room was wonderful, as was the view of the Gulf. The mini TV was a little disappointing. The staff, overall,was excellent, courteous, competent and always smiling. The towel sculptures on the bed every day were amazing. The only drawbacks seem to be the restaurant, and the breakfast. Service was spotty, many of the staff were trainees. The food selection was limited to three set items, no buffet style, and the staff often got the orders wrong, or forgot them completely. The location of the resort is best for people who have their own transportation, or just want to hang out at the beach. We went during the beginning of off season, which may explain many of the items above. We would definitely stay there again.

The website was easy no navigate, confirmation was quick and correct and we definitely got the best value, one night free with one night, we could have expected, including a sea view room. Will definitely use your service again.
