The Golden Pine Resort and Spa
situated in the midst of rolling countryside and surrounded by Paddy
Fields which, at harvesting time, resemble a vast ocean of gold. The
Resort's location is just 10 minutes from the International airport
and 25 minutes from Chiang Rai town.
The Golden Pine Resort
consists of 80 beautifully designed cottages located in the heart of
the Lanna countryside. The site was previously a rural village and is
surrounded by Rice Fields on either side. The perception of tranquility
is enhanced by the backdrop of distant mist enshrouded hills which are
the beginning of the vast Himalaya Range.
ACCOMMODATIONS
A total of eighty self contained cottages are constructed in such
a way a to blend seamlessly with the unspool Lanna countryside, each
one having a front and rear veranda with a bench set. In the centre
is an extremely attractive swimming pool complete with Jacuzzi and graced
by a Mermaid in tireless attendance. The use of local timbers enhance
the interior of each Cottage which consists of a bedroom, a separate
en-suite bathroom, shower cubicle and W.C. Satellite TV and IDD telephones
as well as a Mini Bar are provided to ensure convenience and entertainment
for guests.
RESTAURANTS
The Sang Chan Restaurant features International
and Thai Cuisine as well as light meals in the form of 'snacks' and
has a well stocked Bar. Guests can dine either in air-conditioned comfort
or on the Terrace where the splendor of the star studded tropical night
sky can be fully appreciated. Every evening there is some form of entertainment
such as music and a singer, to enhance the pleasure of the evening meal.
The Sang Tawan Restaurant is another interesting
possibility to enjoy a variety of authentic Thai Food with a choice
of both National and Northern Thai mouth watering dishes.
The lobby bar offers a relaxing ambience where you can
enjoy an afternoon or evening cocktail in the company of your friends
and family. It is also the perfect venue for an after dinner night cap
where you will be entertained by a choice of soothing music, or watch
your favorite program on our large screen TV.

EXCURSIONS
A variety of half and full day
Excursion Tours are available which can be booked at the Resort. These
include a visit to the Golden Triangle which in former days was well
known for its Poppy cultivation and Opium Manufacture. The busy border
town of Mae Sai is also very interesting with its multitude of colorful
goods on sale. A visit to the Mekong Delta which includes an exhilarating
boat ride is also an event to be enjoyed by all. A most agreeable evening
diversion is to visit the Night Bazaar at Chiang Rai when all manner
of Hill Tribe handicrafts are on display and for sale as souvenirs.
Longer tripe to Thailand's second City of Chiang Mai are also available
and much much more besides! It is simply a mater of 'time and inclination'
as the possibilities for side trips are endless!.

of rolling countryside and Rice Fields which at harvest time resemble
a vast sea of gold waving in the breeze! The city of Chiang Rai is only
15 km away and the International Airport is just 8 km in the same direction
which requires only a 10 minute drive as there is littler no traffic
to cause hindrance. In fact the Resort is built on the site of what
was a small village which was famous for it s succulent Pineapples and
these are still grown in this district which is known as Nanglae.
