Bailan is a quiet little village approximately 4 km from Bang Bao, our local fishing village which is built on stilts over the sea and has some very nice seafood restaurants.

In Bailan itself, you can find numerous small restaurants and the island´s most popular Herbal Sauna as well as shops, Internet Cafe, bakery and a hairdresser.

Approximately 1,5 Km to the north of Bailan, the village of Lonely Beach offers supermarkets, ATMs, shops, restaurants, bars (some with live music) as well as some party locations.
